The show was great!

March 3rd, 2009

The show on Wreckreation Nation featuring our Exploding Targets manual and our head guru Rocky Duncan was fantastic.

Of course the Discovery Channel guys blurred out our logo t-shirts that would have sent millions of people to check out our website!   We can’t believe they did that after we busted our asses to give them a good show!

Well what do you do?  You pick up and move on.  At least the show was entertaining!

Just saw the episode. Thanks to my DVR, there was a spot or two where if you paused it, you could see the website in its entirety. That’s how I found this place :)

I saw you guys on Wreckreation Nation. When they blur out stuff, it makes me even more curious. Finding your website was easy. I just searched for rocky duncan explosives. Congratulations on the great show!

I think you have a cool product and i would love to try some exploding targets, but i was shocked by your lack of gun safety. In a time that gun laws are closing in i dont think making gun guys look irresponsible and dumb on national tv is a good idea. One slam fire looks bad, but followed by a shot due to stupidity and lack of trigger control. realy? Finaly i realise the 20rnd mag in the mini-14 COULD be legal in Cali. IF its pre-ban but i personaly woundn’t be showing it off on tv regardless, but thats just me.

      Hey Kevin.

Yes, you are very right. What is really tragic is that normally everyone there was a very thoughtful and safe shooter. Of course, there never really is a good excuse for poor handling of firearms, so certainly none will be given. Everyone involved that was responsible feels absolutely horrible and rightfully ashamed.

That the Discovery Channel chose to highlight that rather than the many, many awesome things that happened that day is also disappointing. There were so many things blown up that weren’t shown, so that they could save room in the show for something negative that brought the whole experience down. When we signed up to do this, they promised that they wouldn’t do anything to embarrass any of us or to make anyone look foolish and then they chose to focus on that one part. They also promised that we could wear the shirts and advertise our website and they broke that promise too. So much for integrity.

Wow Just saw wreckreation nation. Read the other posts about the blurred shirts. Well, they did a lousy job considering thats how a few of us found you. Too bad the folks lied about letting you advertise, makes me not want to watch them anymore. Will definitely be buying some material. Can’t wait to do some target fun!
